January 2011 Newsletter
Entering our fifth year in business, we are welcoming the new year with great anticipation! Between an expanded product line, a brand new website, a revamped IndieCard platform, and a bunch of great shows and events already adorning the calendar, there's a lot to be excited about over here. Thanks to everyone who has grown with us over the years as we began new ventures and expanded our presence here in Asbury Park and beyond. This is going to be a good one!
Want a sneak peak at all of our new technology?
We're looking for beta testers to help us review, debug, and give us feedback on our new IndieCard platform, merch stores, and Bands on a Budget website. If you are interested, please contact email@example.com.
Emerging Artist Series
This month, we are bringing back the band interview series! Over the next few weeks, we will periodically post interviews that we've done with 10 bands from the east coast. If you would like to get some exposure on our site and allow us to get to know you better, please reach out to us here to fill out a band interview!

Spring Semester Internship Available
Downtown Asbury Park has once again become a hub for all things creative. This unique community is a breeding ground for budding musicians, artists, and entrepreneurs, and 630 Mattison Ave is no exception. The storefront that offers bands custom merchandise at budget prices fittingly titled Bands on a Budget, along with the newly-opened collaborative workspace known as Cowerks, welcomes interns who want to get their foot in the door of Asbury Park. BandsonaBudget/Cowerks is more than a workspace; on weekends, the office converts to a live music venue, and the walls are filled with rotating art galleries. With a relaxed, fun environment, the internship offers an opportunity to gain experience in a variety of areas, including: marketing, graphic design, booking live music, coordinating a rotating art gallery, and coming up with innovative sales strategies relating to bands.
If you are interested in the music industry, marketing, art, sales, or Asbury Park, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. All backgrounds and experience are welcome; interns looking for college credit encouraged to apply.
For more information on what we do, please visit bandsonabudget.com or cowerking.com.
FAQ added to Bands on a Budget Blog
To start the year off right, we've created an FAQ blog that will hopefully answer many of the questions you may have. Want to know how to place an order, what the turnaround time on our products are, how IndieCards work, or just what it is that goes on at 630 Mattison, we have all the info in one place. If you think we've missed any, please let us know your question and we'd be happy to add the answer to our FAQ in your honor!
