Let's face it, we all love the deals that we find on GroupOn and Woot. And while it's cool to have an opportunity to try something new- like flying lessons or glass blowing- wouldn't it be great if there were weekly deals that were always relevant to you as a musician? BandsonaBudget.com has come up with a series of weekly specials that offer a merch deal for a fraction of the normal price. If you've been eyeing up vinyl banners, t-shirts, or something different like guitar picks or pint glasses, this will give bands who are on a budget an opportunity to stock up on these items at a price that we're pretty sure you won't be able to find anywhere else. Having a weekly deal isn't a revolutionary idea, we know, but we love giving new bands a chance to get their merch table started, and veterans an opportunity to stock up. When your band sells merch, not only are you promoting the band, but it's one of the few ways to put some money in your pockets (or van gas tank), and if you're spending less money to get it made, that means even more money for you. Customers will be able to buy the special instantly online, selecting colors and sizes on the spot (as applicable) and uploading artwork into their user account. The goal is to make this merch experience as easy, fast, fun, and affordable for you as possible.
These specials aren't just for bands- they're great for businesses too. Take this opportunity to get new staff shirts made, create promotional products, etc. At these prices, it doesn't matter who you are, you really can't go wrong.
The first special will be launching on June 6th, and continue bi-weekly. The specials will be announced every other week on 105.7 The Hawk radio station, as well as BandsonaBudget.com, Twitter (@BandsonaBudget), facebook.com/bandsonabudget, and the “Merch Deal of the Moment” mailing list. All you have to do is follow us on Twitter, like us on Facebook, join our mailing list, or tune into The Hawk to stay in the loop.
