Announcing a call for speakers - "Asbury Agile" - A Web Conference for Makers and Doers

Asbury Agile - A Web Conference for Doers & Makers - Call for Presentation Proposals

Asbury Agile, a one day, single track conference in Asbury Park, New Jersey, is now accepting presentation proposals.

Asbury Agile will be held on the week October 17th, 2011 at the amazing Watermark in Asbury Park. The final date and time will be confirmed shortly.

Asbury Agile is a conference aimed at the builders and doers in the web community. This is our first year so although we have a vision, we’re looking to the community to provide inspiration. Sample topics range from shipping your idea to tackling mobile design, typography on the web, managing a tech career, user testing, websites as products, web frameworks, etc.

We will have about 7 slots open. We will select the best that fit the focus and flow of this year’s conference.

SPEAKERS

Our speakers receive:
Free attendance to the event.
A TBD stipend.

Talks should be at most 40 minutes long, making sure to allow time for questions and discussion.

Presentations may be given by more than one person, but multiple speakers will split the stipend.

Asbury Agile believes in highlighting local talent. If you’re in the Tri-State/Philly area you’re considered local, and we’re looking to hear from you!
