Merging Technology & Customer Service, Asbury Park Business Builds Success.

Merging Technology & Customer Service,
Asbury Park Business Builds Success. has been a retail presence for the past 3 ½ years in Asbury Park and in that time it has worked with over 5000 "local" bands hailing from all over the United States, Canada, Great Britain, France, Columbia, & even Australia.

Ask either of it's co-founders, Danny Croak (Neptune, NJ) and Bret Morgan (Neptune, NJ), and they both will attribute their success to one simple concept - their ability to simplify the buying process through combining technology and good old fashioned customer service.

"Our customers return time and time again because we've successfully managed to build trust and take the pain out of a traditionally painful and intimidating process" states Bret.

For those of you not familiar with this local start-up, is an online retailer for bands, brands, and businesses in need of t-shirts, print products, stickers, vinyl banners, digital download cards, and any sort of promotional product.

It was founded out of a garage where Bret & Danny had been working on separate music related businesses.

"Bands were constantly calling up and asking where they could get t-shirts made, how to press a CD, or who should they use to print stickers", Danny recalls. "Then one day the proverbial light went off and was born."

Operating the business out of the garage and home offices for the first 2 years, took the plunge in 2008 and opened an office space on Mattison Avenue right in Asbury Park's Central Business District.

"We continued to grow our product offerings and customer support processes", says Danny, but both founders agree that things really started to accelerate once they launched their digital download service, called Indiecards, in 2009.

"Indiecards is a platform that allows musicians to distribute their music on a physical card with a code that they then can sell at a concert, stuff with a vinyl record or CD, or to give away as a demo", says Bret. Users then go to their computer, enter the code, and download the music and content to their computer, iPod, or mobile device.

Indiecards have been adopted by hundreds of artists including Greg Attonito of the Bouncing Souls, Glen Tilbrook, of Squeeze, and local emerging artist, River City Extension. plans to expand Indiecards into a platform that encompasses all sorts of digital content distribution including videos and e-books for independent publishers.

They also plan to expand the product into a fully featured marketing platform that brands can use to build reputation through lifestyle engagements, such as - you guessed it - music.

While neither co-founder is at liberty to discuss particulars, is currently in the process of raising capitol to accelerate growth and continue to roll out new products and services.
